Pola Negri (3 January 1897 - 1 August 1987) was a Polish film actress from 1910 through the 1940s. One of the first European film stars to have made it to Hollywood, she also started a number of women's fashion trends. Pola Negri worked in many different ways, in both silent and talking films, as a singer, an author and a dancer among others.
